▼Vectorworks Fundamentals & RenderWorks 2009 for Mac

I had been working with an older version of Vectorworks (8.0) for years. Although I had been planning to upgrade over the years, I had become so attached to my version and knew enough to produce the design and construction docuements I needed I delayed the inevitable. Over a computer malfunction I was forced to come into the new era of Vector12.5.
I was already overwhelmed by the new computer (24" IMAC), but the Vectorworks was blowing my mnd away. I feel somewhat intimidated by the new tricks, appearance and curve, but I love it. I just issued my first set of design and construction docuements. I still need to venture into the 3d capabilities so that I can fly with it like I did with the older version. But its all the small stuff that has made me so happy; The spell check, seeing type in a pallete so I can modify it, being able to modify the callouts without having to ungroup them, the super fast rendering modes. I am very excited to see what I can create in renderworks mode. I am still a bit lost but enjoying the adventure. I only wish that I could be able to open my old 8.0 drawings :(. thats really the only downside for me. But nonetheless am an avid dedicated designer fan of Vectorworks.
