The New bonzai3d is Here!
bonzai3d is a new revolutionary 3D modeler developed to fill the demand for a quick, easy, simple, yet geometrically robust approach to 3D, based on design industry essentials and designer requests. bonzai3d is aimed at delivering your conceptual design and sketching ideas on the fly while maintaining the option to transform them into accurate and dynamic models that can be used for construction drawings, smoothly rendered, and manufactured. bonzai3d has been created to be extremely easy to use, very quick, accurate, powerful, and affordable.
What SpaceClaim Can Do for an Industrial Designer
SpaceClaim Style is a robust 3D modeling software for mechanical design with the ability to read and write Rhino 4.0 files and also to export STEP and IGES files. SpaceClaim Style is the 3D productivity tool for engineers who contribute to the design and manufacture of mechanical products across a broad range of industries. The software provides a flexible design environment coupled with a modern user experience that speeds contributions to the product development process.
This video tutorial shows how easy it is to modify existing designs without the need to interact with a complex parametric history structure.
T-Splines Helps Dave Schultze Design Better Shapes
T-Splines brings organic modeling to Rhino3D, giving designers optimal surface modeling control and full industry standard compatibility.
This case study presents the T-Splines benefits that Dave Schultze, owner of SchultzeWORKS DesignStudio, finds to be critical to his design needs. Ease of use and powerful operators are what make T-Splines a must-have add-on for Rhino users. Its ability to quickly create the most complex shapes and edit them without the need to re-create them or worry about connectivity and continuity between adjacent patches really makes T-Splines a necessary tool for industrial designers.
The Vectorworks Architects Showroom
Engineered to meet the specific needs of smart-sized companies,Vectorworks Architect has everything you need to stream-line the design and production process. From project setup to programming, schematic design development and construction documents -Vectorworks Architect lets you work faster and smarter with fewer errors. That's why top architects around the world rely on Vectorworks Architect to create and present their designs. At a fraction of the cost of other CAD programs, Vectorworks Architect can take your designs to places you never thought they could go. This interactive gallery shows a large variety of complex architectural projects entirely developed using Vectorworks Architect.

The Opinion of a Happy User of CINEMA 4D
Rating:
Reviewer: Dale Jackson

Review: “I love CINEMA 4D, always have. I have used it since C4D version 8.
One of the best things about CINEMA 4D is it's intuitive user interface. That made it easier for me to jump right in and begin modeling. The feature that I wanted in CINEMA 4D 11 was the ability to have a 3D Mouse which would enable me to navigate around a 3D model fluidly, I have already seen a sharp increase in my speed in building a model. CINEMA 4D Studio 11 offers powerful tools to be able to create the simplest model to advanced ones used for complex animations used in some movies.
For me, C4D is a clear winner in my workflow.”
Interview with Matthew Sederberg, CEO of T-Splines
Selected post from Novedge blog
One of my recurring complaints about surface modeling is the intrinsic complexity of existing modeling systems. Even if the level of user friendliness of these systems has improved, sooner or later every user needs to invest some time to understand how the underlying geometry works and to accept the limitations that come with each modeling strategy. T-Splines are certainly one of the most important innovations in this field, but mostly important, the technological benefits of the T-Splines geometry make life easier for the user and the modeling activities faster and more enjoyable. The recent release of T-Splines 2.0 for Rhino shows the huge potential of this new technology. On top of this, T-Splines are fully compatible with existing NURBS modeling systems such as Rhino and Maya. Let's have Matthew Sederberg, the son of the T-Splines inventor and CEO of the T-Splines company, help us to understand better what I like to call NURBS 2.0.
