San Francisco, CA – December 19, 2008 – Novedge LLC, the leading online graphics and design store, today announces the winner of the CAD photo contest held among the members of SpaceClaiming, the popular online community for CAD and design professionals. Sponsored by Novedge and QuadriSpace, the online competition aims to reward the most original photograph submitted by December 15, 2008 based on the theme “Me, My CAD, and My Computer.”
Judged by Brian Roberts, President of QuadriSpace, the challenge selected a picture from Kevin Montgomery, a Rhino 4.0 user from Calgary, Alberta for the first prize. Kevin won a commercial license of QuadriSpace Document3D Suite Standard, a $1495 value. Second place is held by Christopher McHugh, an AutoCAD 2008 user from Newport News, VA and third place goes to Mark Burhop, a Product Manager for Siemens. Christopher and Mark will each receive a copy of QuadriSpace 3D PDF Creator, a $90 value.
Brian Roberts, President of QuadriSpace, commented on his experience in selecting the winners. “I appreciate the opportunity to participate in the photo contest. There were many good entries and ultimately the judgment was made based on overall personality and who looked like they could make the best use of 3D documentation and communication software.”
