Product Description

VX Modeler is a high quality Class-A NURBS based surface modeler perfectly integrated in the VX product family. It includes all the advanced VX technology for free form surface modeling, reverse engineering, model healing and photorealistic rendering.

VX Modeler is based on a state of the art hybrid modeling system that is proprietary to VX and unique in its ability to create the most complex shapes. The hybrid modeling kernel is also unique in its ability to integrate solids and surfaces in a single database that simplifies all the design and engineering tasks that involve both.

The included reverse engineering and model healing functionalities leverage the power of the hybrid modeling kernel for the creation of high quality solid models from sampled parts and inaccurate imported data.
VX Modeler also includes translators for IGES, STEP, VDA-FS and Parasolid making it compatible with most of the CAD/CAM systems on the market.
