3DM Import for Alibre Design

3DM Import for Alibre Design add-on gives Alibre Design the ability to import mesh data from Rhinoceros 3DM files.

3DM Import for Alibre Design reads polygon mesh stored in 3DM files and imports it into Alibre Design. A polygon mesh in a 3DM file is comprised of a set of triangular/quad faces. 3DM Import for Alibre Design creates trimmed planar surfaces for each triangle/quad and knits them together to create a solid body.

3DM Import for Alibre Design is very easy to use as it adds new commands to Alibre Design. It also adds a submenu to the Alibre Design menu called "3DMImport" containing these new commands.

The '3DMImport' submenu consists of the following commands:

• Import - Imports an 3DM file
• Help - Displays the 3DM Import for Alibre Design help file
• Register - Registers your copy of 3DM Import for Alibre Design
• About - Displays the 3DM Import for Alibre Design About box
