SketchBook Pro 2011

This is the first drawing program I've bought and it's great. Being a beginner, it's a nice simple program. No complexed tools or buttons that'll never be used. A good selection of medians and this program isn't insanely expensive. I highly recommend it to any beginners.

I looked hard at different tablet-based graphic solutions and I picked Sketch Book Pro 2010 because I thought it was easy and very natural.
My assumptions was right and I was surprised how accurate in the draw in relation and feel of the pen. I don't have those rich and fancy LCD pads and with this program, I will never get one.

I had owned my tablet for years but rarely use it because all other programs I'd used failed to exploit the tablets true power. Now I can say I fell in love with my tablet for the first time.

The portability of the program is enough to export to my favorite "finishing" program to dress it up in special effects. I think this program can also be used in a classroom environment as well. I said this because I used to be an art student in college and you have to be able to draw big filling the page and express yourself. This program let you do just that.

I love this program the interface is so easy I was drawing right away! The custom brush option is great paired with a Wacom tablet. The software is light on resources also, on battery power my MacBook Pro drains only a little faster than surfing the net. Best program I have used, I can draw faster in SketchBook Pro than in Photoshop or even on paper!

I am using it with children who open up so easily because they are fascinated with this... I just saw a child who is not a big talker but her drawings said so much about her situation in her home.

I love this product! It is so user friendly, and such a smooth graduation from Sketchbook 1.1!

I design fashion, and it feels so natural to me to use my tablet instead of messy paints and toners. I can choose between both and I am loving it!

I heard about this product from another embroidery design digitizer and expected to have a huge learning curve. This is so easy to use I can't believe it. It has already cut down on my preparation time which allows me to produce more product. Highly recommend this product.

If what you want to do is translate your Drawing skills to the computer this, plus a Wacom tablet, is the ONLY program you need. As a Fine Artist I feel this is the only program that allows me to utilize my drawing skills to their fullest and finest with a computer.
I've only begun to utilize program but am willing to lay down the 'bucks' to have it as one of the tools which I'll use over and over and over. AND you can do it in color as well!
I encourage you to download the trial and I think you'll be wowed!!

When I downloaded this program I thought that it would be as much a pain as other programs that I have used but this actually made it easier for me to do my art.
I have decided because of the ease of this program to expand how much I do with my art on the computer.

I use a projector and screen in my classroom, and it's awesome for presenting notes. I can save it, email it, etc. An excellent classroom tool.

As a professional with 8 years experience, I really appreciate a program that doesn't hinder me when I want to get down some ideas fast. With better pencil sensitivity than more expensive programs, Sketchbook is what I use now whenever I need to be expressive. The tools & menus are intuitive and should offer an easy "in" to artists looking to go digital. This program does not replace the more advanced photo editing type software, but it does perform amazingly where pure artistic expression and sensitivity matters. Best when combined with a cintiq! I realized I needed to buy the software for my studio after trying the free demo for a few days.

Hey, I'm using it with the cintiq, and it feels natural... if you are smart enough to create layers as you draw, you can then manipulate the design wonderfully.

The fact that the file is just a tiff file, updated at any moment, also helps.

I just wanted to have more paper options, and a better color pallete.

I wish all software devesopement would be developed to fulfill its task to the highly refined level desplayed in this program.
The features are limited but what it offers is freehand drawing and airbrush done pristinely.

This is a great product for anyone into graphics.
As a busy "Tattoo Artist" I was looking for somthing that would enable me to quickly sketch up ideas when a client was not sure how a design may look, this is the best I have found.
If you want a tool to quickly rough out ideas or even produce complete finished artwork this is it!, 5 stars.

I think Alias SketchBook Pro 2 is a really good software for drawing sketches.
It is really simple and fast to use, but, at the same time, it has everything you need to make your own creation as detailed as you want.
If you don't believe, just try the demo or give a look at the gallery: I'm sure you will be as impressed as I was!

SketchBook Pro is an amazing tool to use on a tablet pc. The coloring options don't really compare to Photoshop but for drawing it's spectacular.

Finding the perfect software for free drawing is not easy.
Sometimes the tools available are not enough for creating what you want.
Sometime you can find many tools but so complicated to use that it takes more time to select them than to draw what you want.
I think that with SketchBook Pro, Alias has found the perfect trade off between these two needs.
The interface is really powerful but, at the same time is also friendly and, I think, perfectly designed.
