NC Import for IntelliCAD is a Numeric Control NC program file import plug-in for
IntelliCAD powered applications. This plug-in gives
IntelliCAD powered applications the ability to import geometric data from
NC program files.
CNC machines worldwide use Numeric Control files (.nc, .ncc or .cnc) to convert programmed instructions to tool movement.
NC programs consist of a sequence of codes with parameter data to arrive at a precise description of the toolpath.
NC Import for IntelliCAD reads NC program files and recreates the toolpath in 3D.
NC Import for IntelliCAD converts the commands in
NC files into corresponding line, arc or circle entities and adds them to the active drawing.
NC Import for IntelliCAD is very easy to use as it adds a new command to the IntelliCAD powered application called "NCImport". Simply type "NCImport" at the command prompt and select a NC file to import into the active drawing.
The 'NCImport' menu consists of the following commands:
- NCImport - Imports a NC file
- NCImportHelp - Displays the NC Import for IntelliCAD help file
- NCImportRegister - Registers your copy of NC Import for IntelliCAD
- NCImportAbout - Displays the NC Import for IntelliCAD About box
