STL Export for IntelliCAD

STL Export for IntelliCAD is a Stereolithography S(stl) file export plug-in for IntelliCAD powered applications. This plug-in gives IntelliCAD powered applications the ability to export geometric data to ASCII and Binary stl files.

The stl file format is the Rapid Prototyping industry's standard data transmission format and is the format required to interact with stereolithography machines. Stereolithography files contain solids which are made up of 3 sided facets. STL Export for IntelliCAD reads mesh objects (PolyFace Mesh, Polygon mesh and 3D Faces) in the active drawing and writes them out to a stl file.

STL Export for IntelliCAD is very easy to use. Once installed, it must be loaded into the IntelliCAD environment. Follow the simple instructions in the Getting Started document which can be found in the installation folder. Once loaded it adds new commands to IntelliCAD's existing commands and a new submenu called "STLExport" to the IntelliCAD menu containing these newly added commands.
