I use this for both portfolio and business. Great product, easy to use. Great to save time and get the concept out. Definitely a great purchase. A must have.

The real time rendering feature allows the designer to play with a design and experiment with new concepts in real time. RhinoGold makes it easy for a jeweler to start creating usable models immediately, and significantly reduces the learning curve required to run a cad program. I would never want to go back to designing and making jewelry with out it.This program literally paid for it's self the first week I owned it!

While trying to analize the weight, I switched from grams to .dwt and the screen went white with a message stating ( Rhinoceros 4.0 is not responding. I had to end the application and restart Rhino. This happened 3 more times.
Another problem arose when doing 3D texturing at -20 the application gave a "not responding" message.

I spent very little time working with the program;
however, I loved the time that I spent drawing.
I am a designer with a marine architect company. I am trying to better myself by trying to learn how to draw 3-D models. I am not giving up; I am just pressed for time in the present.

From beginnings on internet tutorials to a beginners course on jewellery design, I have now entered the realm of true 3D space with Rhino!
From basic geometry to organic shapes, I place my hands into the pc screen and touch my creations! Thanks to Rhino, am truly grateful for this technology.
