This is an outstanding product, and I purchased it from Novedge for about $100 off the regular price. An outstanding product for an outstanding price.
Just so you know I'm new to 3D modeling, and I've tried lots of different products. I'm going to use Modo for game development for the iPhone/iTouch/iPad platform, as well as XBox 360, PC and Mac platforms.
Out of all the other products I've tried, I like Modo the best. I tried Cinema 4D, Maya, 3D Studio Max, and Blender. I can say, for someone new to 3D modeling, Modo takes the cake. It's simple to use, easy to learn, has a great interface, and for the price you just can't beat it. Cinema 4D would be my other choice, but it's too expensive if you want all the bells and whistles. Modo gives you plenty of bells and whistles, and they'll add more in the future, for a better price.
Modo also has plenty of training videos on modeling and other things at Digital Tutors .com and they also have a great forum where people answer your questions and help you out.
