Book: Working With Rhinoceros 4.0 is a beginner's user guide for working with
Rhino 4.0, the 3D modeling and visualization software for product designers, architects, and sculptors.
Book: Working With Rhinoceros 4.0 will teach you step by step how to use the program. The book describes drawing in 2D, building in 3D, editing in 3D, materials, light, rendering, exporting possibilities, scripting, and more. Each segment includes plenty of examples so you learn as you go.
Written in plain English,
Book: Working With Rhinoceros 4.0 explains the basics with many useful illustrations. The book is divided into two types of chapters, regular and "do" chapters. Regular chapters explain the program from start to finish, while "do" chapters allow you to work rapidly and develop skill without having to read through the regular chapters. This enables readers to get the most out of

Introduction Excerpt
This is the English version of the first Dutch Rhino book: Book: Working With Rhinoceros 4.0. Rhinoceros, which is the full name of the program, is a program that enables you to build a 3D-object or a 3D-environment with the computer. Rhino is a complete program for designers and sculptors. It is a Surface modelling program, which means that a surface forms the base for building. I would also like to mention that Rhino is a NURBS-modelling program, though this probably doesn't mean anything to you as of yet. Perhaps it is best to say that building NURBS gives you unknown freedom, which cannot be said of most other 3D-programs.
The McNeel software designers didn't start developing Rhino until after they had talked to the future users they had in mind. They continuously asked questions like: 'How would you like to be able to build an object?' and 'in what way would you like a program to react to your actions?'. Through this research they've put together a very pleasing, complete package with a short learning curve. You'll comprehend a great deal of the program within a matter of days. Rhino is amazingly user-friendly. I find that out of all the programs I've worked with (either for shorter or longer periods of time), this one has the most intuitive way of building.
This book will teach you how to use the program.
