Nearly Perfect

I have been using ProgeCAD for over 15 years for mechanical and electrical CAD. It has gotten better over the years and it is a viable contender to the high cost packages for most purposes. I use SolidWorks for 3D and often import ProgeCAD 2D drawings to get things started. It's about as close as you can get to AutoCAD, except for the price.

I was very pleased to find that you had the upgrade option available for my 2019 version.

Might as well be AutoCad

I am not a power CAD user but I have used many versions of AutoCad Lt, IntelliCad, and ProgeCad. I just cancelled my AutoCad Lt subscription a few weeks ago and switched to the latest ProgeCad. So far it works almost exactly the same as AutoCad Lt 2020, a little better actually because it runs without issue on an LG Gram 17 that doesn't have a graphics card. Also, the toolbar implementation is superior to AutoCad.
There may be features that a power user might find lacking but I am guessing not.
