Product Description

KeyShot 5 HDKeyShot 5 HD is an entirely CPU based standalone 3D rendering and animation system for 3D data. It has been designed to take the complexity out of rendering realistic images. KeyShot 5 HD is used by designers, engineers and CG professionals worldwide to quickly and easily create realistic images and animations of their 3D models.
KeyShot 5 HD is an interactive raytracing and global illumination program developed by Luxion for both PC and Mac that breaks down the complexity of creating photographic images from 3D models. KeyShot 5 HD is the new name for the successful KeyShot 5 HD software, the first interactive raytracing and global illumination program. Combined with its ease of use KeyShot 5 HD gives anybody involved with 3D data the ability to create photographic images in a matter of minutes, independent of the size of the digital model. KeyShot 5 HD supports many native file formats, including Creo 2, NX 8, Pro Engineer Wildfire, Solid Edge SolidWorks, Rhino, Alias. JT, Inventor, STEP AP 203/214, AutoCAD, Maya, Parasolid, SketchUp, FBX, OBJ, IGES, and Collada.
KeyShot 5 HD doesn't require any expertise nor special hardware. Creating a photographic image takes 6 simple steps and you always see what you are getting - there's no delay and no waiting.
You can complement KeyShot 5 HD with 32 additional rendering slaves: KeyShot NetWork Rendering.

What's New in the Latest Version

  • Groups - Everyone loves to organize. In KeyShot 5 HD you can now create groups of your parts in the Project Scene tree. These can be new groups, dragging and dropping parts and sub-assemblies into existing groups or moving parts between groups. The capability includes a full featured dialog that allows you to add one or multiple parts to an existing group or create a new group directly from the realtime render interface.
  • Set Core usage - KeyShot 5 HD now comes with the ability to set priority on the amount of CPU cores used by KeyShot 5 HD. Since KeyShot 5 HD is fully CPU-based and utilizes 100% of all available cores, this ensures you are able to have access to more CPU power in other programs while KeyShot 5 HD is rendering. This is a simple setting accessed from the KeyShot 5 HD Preferences with the minimum being four cores.
  • Material swap - You can now swap materials between selected parts without having to change the material for each part. You have two options, swapping materials by selecting parts or by dragging and dropping materials from the KeyShot 5 HD library onto existing materials in the in-project library.
  • Scene revisions - KeyShot 5 HD now offers the ability to save revisions of a scene. When you save a scene, rather than overwriting each scene with the latest settings, you can now save revisions of the same scene which can then be accessed later from within KeyShot 5 HD.
  • Realtime presets - There are now more presets available for the realtime viewer. Through the Project settings, you have an immediate selection of preset options that include actual aspect ratios found in print and digital media. These presets are single-click settings that can also be locked to ensure proper resolution.
