This interactive tutorial shows how to translate a mechanical part from Unigraphics to SolidWorks using the CADCAM-E UGS/Unigraphics to/from SolidWorks® translator.

As a first step the part should be saved from Unigraphics to a .PRT file.

Please note that the CADCAM-E UGS/Unigraphics to/from SolidWorks® translator is a direct translator that does not require the creation of intermediate files like IGES or STEP. It can read Unigraphics .PRT files directly into SolidWorks.
