 | What it's About  Toon Boom is an award-winning animation software. Traditional subjects such as geography and language can be taught in a more engaging and stimulating fashion. Using animation enhances the classroom experience and creates a deeper learning experience. The purpose of this workshop is to teach participants how they can use Toon Boom Studio to reach higher literacy objectives. The webinar is free and lasts about about 1 hour, including the Q & A session. Who is Presenting Geneviève Demers has recently joined Toon Boom Animation as a Software Instructor. She has earned a diploma in both traditional and 3D animation throughout her 5 years spent at the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal. Since her graduation in 2006, she has worked for Oasis Animation, a Montreal based company, holding several positions including digital animator and lead character builder, occasionally lending a hand with scene planning and compositing. She has worked on productions such as 6teen, Walter and Tandoori the animated series, Pérusse Cité, Walted and Tandoori the Christmas Special, and Lucky Fred. These diversified productions have provided Geneviève with a rich baggage of experiences in both 2D character rigging and animation, making her a valuable addition to the Toon Boom family.
