HDR Light Studio
Interactive Image Based Lighting
Recorded on Mar 28, 2012
What it's About
HDR Light Studio 3 is a powerful interactive image based lighting creation and HDRI environment augmentation tool. But what does this mean? It allows users to design lighting and reflections in real-time around their 3D models, via an interactive HDRI canvas, where lighting nodes, synthetic and photo-based, are placed and automatically distorted for spherical mapping. This demonstration will take you through the process of creatively lighting a 3d model purely using this image based lighting technique, which is fast to create and fast to render too. It will also cover improving existing HDRI maps to enhance and control their lighting effects on 3D models - again all with real-time feedback.

The webinar is free and lasts about about 1 hour, including the Q & A session.
Who is Presenting
Mark Segasby Lightmap co-founder, is a product designer working for 6 years in the design sector before specializing in product and transport CGI design visualization. During this time HDR Light Studio was created and developed with co-founder Simon C Smith.
